The most adventurous Climbing Club in Amsterdam
Mountain Club is Mountain Network's youth climbing club. Every Mountain Network location in the Netherlands has its own Mountain Club. During our training you will learn everything about climbing and mountaineering and you will also get to know new climbing buddies. Fun activities are also regularly organized by our Mountain Club.
Mountain Club Amsterdam was founded especially for youth who love climbing. Two to three times a week, a Recreational Training is provided by our trainers Kim, Lindy and Desiree. During these training sessions you will be introduced to climbing (in a playful way). The Match Team Training is provided by Lindy and Desiree. The youth from this group is very fanatical and regularly participates in (national) competitions. Fun activities are also regularly organized. Like going with your climbing buddies from the Mountain Club to the Ardennes weekend, our outdoor location. If you have completely caught the climbing virus afterwards, you can sign up for one of the Climbing Camps in the summer months. Also good to know is that our Montain Club works with The SVK Child Climbing Label System which is a safety system that has been developed with the aim of making climbing with groups of children safer and easier.

Sign up now via the form for a trial lesson! You can register as a member of the Mountain Club immediately after the trial lesson, that is if the trial lesson tastes like more of course. You can try if you like it on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you are not yet able to climb or belay independently, you will first follow a course given by an instructor during the training. During the course you will simply climb along with the group, but together with other new climbers from the Mountain Club you will receive extra explanation and exercises regarding knots, safety and belay. Of course, every lesson also pays attention to climbing techniques, because even with a little advice you are quickly able to climb more difficult routes.
