GLOW

GLOW is back at all our locations this fall—will you join us?

Our classic GLOW event is back, and it’s happening at all our locations. During GLOW, the climbing and bouldering gym won’t look like you’re used to. For starters, the lights will be off, and it will be dark. Through the use of blacklights, routes will glow, artworks and decorations will become visible, and your craziest outfit will shine. The DJs will take you on a trip through our galaxy, with a final destination at a great afterparty. Bring your spacy vibes, an outfit from the year 2093, and your intergalactic friends.

When?

  • Heerenveen – Friday, October 11
  • RijnBoulder – Friday, October 18
  • Dordrecht – Friday, November 1
  • Arnhem – Friday, November 22
  • Noardwand – Friday, November 29
  • Amsterdam – Friday, December 13
  • Nieuwegein – Friday, January 10

General Program

  • 16:30 – 18:30: GLOW Mountain Club*
  • 19:00 – 23:00: GLOW Climbing + DJ
  • 22:30 – 01:00 (or 03:00): Afterparty + DJ

*note: De Mountain Club in Dordrecht will take place on the 2th of november from 19:00 – 21:00 hrs.

Small afterparties will be organized at various locations. Keep an eye on your location’s socials for more info about the program.

Registration

You can register via this link. Here, you can reserve entry and optionally book a meal/t-shirt. Be quick because once it’s full, it’s full.

  • Member entry: Free
  • Regular entry: €20

Costume Contest

At each edition, two winners will be chosen for the best outfit. So, be creative, go crazy, and wear something glowy. For this contest, we have great vouchers from our main sponsor MAMMUT. The winner will receive a framed photo of their outfit and a Mammut voucher worth €50. Additionally, we will raffle off 4 Mammut vouchers worth €25 each. So, be there!

Safety

Safety is our top priority during this event. The check-in zone will be better lit, and our staff will be around to conduct extra checks if necessary. A headlamp is mandatory for safety, and a climbing competency certificate and experience are required for top-roping. For bouldering, experience is helpful but not required.

DJs

GLOW wouldn’t be complete without the right music. Various DJs will take you on a small trip through our galaxy, with the occasional detour to a black hole. Fasten your seatbelts!
