Improve your technique
If you’re interested in improving your technique and learning to easily climb up to grades 5b/5c, then this is the course for you.
At Mountain Network Amsterdam, this course is taught regularly for a diverse group of (international) climbers. We therefore have chosen to have this course on Tuesdays completely be taught in Dutch. This course on Thursdays will be taught both in Dutch and English, or even fully in English, for our non-Dutch speaking community!
This course is aimed at improving your climbing technique and during the lessons, your instructor will discuss the basics. You will learn everything you need to know about basic posture, positioning your body, edging and flagging, resting, and smearing. You will also learn how to ‘read’ a route, which is a crucial aspect of increasing your level. Our Climbing Technique Course 1 is an intense programme of six 2 hour lessons that will help you achieve better climbing performance.
