Climbing gym

Mountain Network Amsterdam is the second Mountain Network location to employ our proprietary triangle climbing wall system, which makes a great deal of variation possible and ensures that the walls of the gym form a whole. The climbing walls offer routes suitable for both beginning and advanced climbers, and feature both slabs and overhangs, including a roof of no less than 10 metres. We have 34 top-rope groups and 12 lead climbing lines. The lead climbing walls vary in shape from vertical to drastically horizontal. A great deal of care is put into the quality of the routes and we are always refreshing our selection with new ones. The climbing gym is 15 metres high and offers approximately 150 routes in total.

Boulder gym

At 200 m2, Mountain Network Amsterdam’s boulder gym is one of the largest in the Netherlands that is directly linked to a climbing gym. Thanks to the use of our triangle climbing wall system, the walls of the boulder gym are incredibly varied and form a whole. Our boulder gym is 4 metres high and offers problems suitable for both beginning and advanced climbers. We are always building new problems. Each problem’s grade is indicated by its coloured tag. The colour of the holds does not indicate the grade anymore.

Fitness gym

Mountain Network Amsterdam has its own strength training and fitness gym (220m²). It includes strength and rehabilitation equipment, and was set up by Topsport Amsterdam.

Sport physiotherapy

FysioHolland is a centre that offers medical care for (top-level) athletes and orthopaedic revalidation. They have entered into a partnership with Mountain Network and opened a practice at Mountain Network Amsterdam’s fitness gym. In addition to treating climbing injuries, and providing information about and on preventing injuries, FysioHolland is specialised in (top-level) sport injuries, orthopaedic revalidation and postoperative guidance for ankle, knee, hip, shoulder and elbow operations. Mountain shop

Mountain Network Amsterdam’s mountain sport shop has a wide selection of climbing and mountain sport products, as well as a large inventory of hardware for climbing, bouldering, adventure climbing and ice climbing.

The Swiss company Mammut and the Italian La Sportiva are ‘preferred supplier’ of Mountain Network. We have wide selection of climbing gear, clothes and shoes of both companies in our shop. Nowhere in the Benelux you will find a bigger selection of these high end brands.

Furthermore we have climbing gear from Petzl and Black Diamond among others. We also sell several topos of popular climbing areas.
